I immediately heard mistakes that made me cringe. So for the last eight months or so I have been working with Steve Murphy to re-record, re-edit and in some cases re-write a bit, the original songs. I was a young musician when the original recording was made, and we were on a very tight budget, so it was just three passes at each song, and we took the best takes we had, warts and all. Over time, those warts seem to have become more pronounced. Thus this effort.

So, the finished piece, with a spiffed up cover and layout, by JJ Rudisill ( the original artwork by Rene Graef was terrific but the printing was terrible – it came out much too dark- ruined Rene’s wonderful lime greens ) should be out in a few months. I’ll keep you posted.
