Squads of Arthropods

Shows Comments Off

“Everywhere we trod, squads of arthropods.. crustaceans, arachnids, and all the insect, too” are the subjects of funny songs, dances and comic routines, all scientifically accurate, in this show about our exoskeleton friends. Well, if not friends, at least our constant companions.

This show is an amalgam of Billy’s other shows. It draws on the many insect and arthropod related songs and routines Billy does in his shows and CDs, ” Romp in the Swamp ” ( songs such as Do the Dragonfly, Wild Wetlands-mosquitoes ), ” The Ways of the Bay ” ( Crab Jubilee ), “The Rainforest Chorus” ( Squads of Arthropods ), “Nature in the City” ( Cicada, Flies in Black ), and “Sun Up, Sun Down” ( Shake Your Butt and Dance – about bees in the hive ). It is preferable for Billy to talk with the school representative to find out what approach the school is taking with it’s curriculum ( studying the life cycle of crustaceans, insects, bees and pollination, etc. ) so he can then taylor his show to that schools particular curriculum.
